Workshops during Off The Shelf – October Half Term Week

Destinations Arts will be hosting a series of sessions this October during the Off The Shelf Literature Festival in Sheffield. As part of this years Black History Month, we will be creatively exploring the Dark Lady sequence of Shakespeare’s sonnets.

A collaboration between local Artists and participants involving dance, spoken word, creative writing, music and digital technologies at Sheffield Hallam University.

The key work focus of our workshops will be the wonderful and revealing Sonnet 127

The Details

Our workshops will run from Tuesday 25th October until Saturday 29th October.

Activities will include:

Street dance, creative writing, spoken word/poetry, video, photography and digital Arts and Digital Artefacts (Laser cutting / 3D printing.

Dates: Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th, Thursday 27th, Friday 28th, Saturday 29th.

Venue: Sheffield Hallam University Owen Building Room 744

Times: 10.30am – 4.30pm weekdays, 1pm – 4pm Saturday
